Strummers

Set up in 2015 by a collective of left-leaning musical activists comprising Les Ray, Deidre Murphy, Dave Clark, Nicky Compton, Jeremy Harmer, Tony Phillips and Richard Wildman, Strummers builds on Les Rays Cambridge 105 radio broadcasts ‘Strummers and Dreamers’. Based either at the CB2 Bistro or the Golden Hind Pub in Cambridge (depending on audience size) Strummers runs monthly gigs featuring professional level artists who are in tune with the Strummers strapline – music with a social conscience.
